Do you get any money if your hen or rooster wins a poultry show ?

It depends on how much money the show has raised most of the time. Are you asking about Best of Show? Or just 1st place? I've been to some shows where if I got Reserve of a Class I got $5, but this year they didn't have enough to give out to all the class winners. Other times I've seen the Best of Show get 100 pounds of chicken feed. But It really depends on what the awards committee wants to give out, and how much money the show has raised.

yes, state fair here I got 100.00 in all for the birds I entered. Each show has different rules and prizes if any. The fairs pay out good here and the shows are like 25 to 100.00 depends what you are showing and the show.
