If you want to bring the babies in their crate down here, we can put them in the garage.

Sure. I'm gonna get up early any how to see what's what. maybe jeff can kill something tonight too.

I'm put them up at the house. They will have enough room in the big crate.

Speaking of raccoon drama..........Sarah I am going to hold the flock we talked about for you for now...not bringing this weekend since you are still having problems. Next Lex trip I make should be August 7th most likely. Hopefully you have it all dealt with by then. Going to Vegas instead in September, then Lex again early October most likely.

Good luck!

sounds good. I don't want to take on any more birds just for them to get killed.

Side note...jeff just got carded for smokes by a girl 10 years younger! LOL! he hasn't shaved in a month and he told the girl I got a kid almost old enough to smoke!

I have been looking on the D'Uccle thread for someone close who might have a MF D'Uccle cockerel - finally, close to the end of the thread I saw a post of yours on there and thought "hmmm, why is that name so familiar?". Then, DUH, I realized that I had seen your posts on this thread! Will you have some of the Mille Fleur variety D'Uccle cockerels with you on Saturday? I need one to start a color project this fall. Please say yes you will have some, oh pretty please!

Thechickonthehill,

I only have Porcelain boys! You could still work with that, I guess.........not sure what all you're trying to do LOL. But Porcelain is lavender mille fleur. You could kill two birds with one stone! My mille, blue mille and mottled d'uccles are all girls! Wegotchickens is in Sevier County and I believe has show quality Mille boys.....she is not going to this swap, but maybe you can convince her to drop one off at my house first and I will transport for you! LOL.

Pop57,

My wheaton boys are about 3 months old, I believe. All feather legged and all getting whooped by my little d'uccles and bantam cochin boys. Wimpy wimpy wimpy.......I bought a set of babies off a local guy who supposedly bought his off a "founder" of the color....I'm not familiar with names but if you listed some I could say yay or nay.....I have 2 girls, and 4 big robust boys. They are just going into my "big flock" for pretty eggs and to create some olive eggers later on. But the extra boys need to adios!
