hello my boyfriend has turkey poults about two weeks he’s had them they’re about a month old. It’s hot today 95 - so he turned he heat lamp off finally. Well right after we noticed they’re hanging their heads really low while roosting ..are they okay?

Yes that is normal during hot weather. There has been other threads about this and some even showing pictures with the poults hanging their heads down.

Like this? Shes taking a nap on a bench. They can sleep like that.

Okay thanks! good to know. He turned the light back on fearful something was wrong and they stopped doing it though. Is it okay to leave the light off? I can send a pic shortly they’re up now making all kinds of noises

It is very normal for them to paint and hold their wings out from their body. Anytime it’s over 80° at my house mine start doing that

Sure it's fine to turn off the lights! Then sing them a lullaby! They'll love it!

It's hot, mine are continuously panting even though they are in the shade with fans & wading pools. The heat is hard on them. I worry about excessive heat much more than the cold weather. Make sure they have plenty of water to drink.
