I'm new to turkeys and I have four BR 2.5 week poults on gamebird starter crumbles. When they eat they take a few bites and then stretch their necks up and swallow a lot and open and close their mouths. It's kind of dramatic and I keep thinking they are choking. Is this just how they eat?

How big are the crumbles? The feed we get is often ground different sizes from bag to bag. If they have something caught in their throats they usually shake their head from side to side. It sounds like it's just the way they are eating
