poutry magazines

Can anyone tell me where I can find a poutry magazines so I can order some chicks? I have looked all over the internet and I can't believe I cannot find a mag. to order chicks or a mag. that provides info. on all the different breeds. Thanking you in advance for your help.

for ordering, you want to go to the hatchery websites and request a catalog. Ideals is free, so is McMurray and Randall Burkey also has a free catalog - I'm sure others do also.

for a good magazine try Backyard Poultry.

yeah what chicnmama said! But if you still want a magazine Tractor Supply has a pretty good selection. Or at least ours does

I found some back issues of "Poultry Enthusiast" they are on Meyer's Hatchery site. I am trying to find where you can actually subscribe but not having any luck. Does anyone know of this magazine?
I do subscribe to Backyard Poultry i just to be able to read all I can about the poultry. LOL Cj
