So, 36 hours before the expected hatch the power went down in my shop without my knowledge. The eggs were without heat for eight and a half hours. When I went to check this morning the temp was 71. I restored power immediately but am very frustrated. Don't really have a question or know what to do about it. I'm just frustrated.

Big hatch.....Just keep any eye on the humidity and bring up the temp slowly. It's not necessarily the drop or spike that's always the problem but sudden drops N spikes are bad! So go slow and try to keep the humidity regulated as much as possible. Once everything settles back to normal you could candle a few from different areas in the bator and see what's happening with them.
I can twiddle only so fast... Arthritis..lol
