Power is being shut off for 9 hrs. How do I keep my chicks warm?

that happened to me when my girls were about the same age.

i bought a battery powered lamp-like thing and hung it over the cage like you would a heat lamp.
it had a normal lightbulb in it, but it gave off a good amount of heat.

it was relatively cheap too(about 15 bucks at walmart). and now i have it for backup incase the electricity ever gets turned off.
