Did you call the power company? The other night I woke up at 11:45 and the power had went off, at 1am it was still off and I called SW Electric and explained to them that I had an incubator that had already dropped in temp and had over 100 chicks that needed their heat bulbs. The guy said " I will send another truck out ASAP!" Power was back on in 30 minutes and then he called to make sure that our power was on. Such nice people.

Yes on calling the power company...phone was right in front of me. But I have ATT and the cell phones would not work for over two hours! You could text but could not make a call.....explain that! When I could finally call I got a recording and no real person. You certainly are lucky and do have a good power company.....unlike ours. I am going to call and ask them how much to subtract for the outage before I mail my bill this month!!
