We had some problems with the power to the shed I had the incubator in and it went out twice...I've now moved the incubator to the laundry room where I can check on it multiple times a day. The 1st time the temp went down to 56 degrees. The second time, 2 days later it went down to 68 degrees. This happend on days 9 and 11. I have no idea how long the power was out for, I would check on it morning and evening so up to 12 hours. It is now day 17, and I can still see veins in 7 of the 8 eggs when I candle them. But I don't ever see them move. Since there's a window in the laundry room, I can only candle them after dark. Are they just sleeping? Or is there something wrong?
I don't know if it matters or not, but these are BBS Orpington eggs that were mailed to me.
