Hi - this my 3rd year in having chickens and my first encounter with any kind of possible health issue. I was out of town for a few days and when I went into the hen house this morning, I noticed this black 'growth' on my 2 young roosters. All my hens and my older rooster appear clear (so far).
Any thoughts on what it might be? And what I should do next?

Those are scabs from fighting.

If they're not still going at one another.. I'd just let it be.

Ah! Thank you. This is my first time with roosters (odds finally caught up with me!) and I have noticed them 'arguing' a bit, so that explains it.
