Is this fowl pox. It has grown and I have put iodine on it daily. Thoughts?

Can you get photos of the inside of the beak?

Is there a really bad rotten odor?

Likely this is Canker, especially if there's a bad odor. Do any of your other birds have lesions on the side of their beak or inside of the beak?

Personally, I'd cull her, but if you wish to try to treat, then you can use Metronidazole or Acidified Copper Sulfate. Some find that Canker is very hard to treat and often even with care and medication the bird does not make it.

I will get more photos for sure. I did not detect any smells and inside the mouth did have some bleeding from splitting open. This is my last chicken of a bygone age so I'd like to keep her well as long as possible.

If it does not get better with antibiotics, I suspect it to be a tumor/cancer.

It looks quite painful and seems to have already spread to the lower part of her left head/throat region looking rather swollen too.

Consider helping her out of her misery if the antibiotic treatment does not help.
