my cousin-in-law's last name is GREEN, and she always has a big pinochle party and family reunion over St Pat's Day weekend logical, huh ? more than thirty people usually show up over that weekend; which features costume contest, best/worst drink and best/worst dessert contests, etc I didn't find any cute Irish gewgaws this year, for a hostess gift so I trucked over to my local friendly egg seller who has Easter Egg chickens (he calls them Ameraucanas but they're not one of the approved colors) ... and I now have five dozen fertile eggs ready to travel south with us in the morning five dozen GREEN eggs (actually they're more blue than green but so what ?) now ... should I stop enroute and get a ham ..... ? Candy
You have to soak that ham in a green dye brine though... and then use food coloring in the bottom of dark mugs to make green milk!
unfortunately I couldn't locate any green Ballard Bitter this year, maybe they have stopped producing it ?
