Hello! I got chicks about a month and a half ago, and I’m trying to find out if this one chick is a rooster. I got 3 PBE’s and this one points it’s feathers up instead of down as well as jumps a lottt. Please ignore the coop, the poop on the wall is from 3 years ago and won’t come off with anything I’ve tried! And the corner they are in is the corner I haven’t cleaned in the enclosure yet so it looks gross. The suspected rooster is the tan and white one, and the all white with black as well as the all black with a pink face are also PBE’s. They were riled up because I was cleaning their enclosure, but these are the least blurred photos I got

I wish there was a better shot of its comb, but from what I can see it looks like a pullet.
Im going to get a better picture after I clean their coop! They run so hecking fast its hard to get anything as well. Hence his/her name Ferrari lol. I'll also try to get some of the other two as well to compare, but I've just been suspicious of this one because it acts like a rooster and its tail is different from the others. It is a mixed breed though so it could just be more leghorn then the others, because my leghorn I have now was like this as a baby as well and was a pullet.

Behavior isn't a very good indicator of sex at that age. Pullets can be just as rambunctious as cockerels when they are young. Also, weird tails seem to happen a lot with Easter egger type pullets. Comb size and color are the main things to look at with birds of that age.

I did get some more pictures of them, but there really is no good ones still, also there’s a picture of the all black one bf the white one too for comparison, but they aren’t the best, I can catch all the chickens but Ferrari🙄

Thank Y'all! I'll probably update with more pics every few months to verify when their growing, but thank you guys for the help!

Sidenote: Also if anyone has any ideas how to get the poop of the wall it would be bery much appreciated, I've tried so many things in the past couple years and nothings seemed to work. I'm on the edge of just painting over it at this point.
