UPDATE ON CANDY!!
Candy made a miraculous turn for the bettter, is now stable off of all meds and treatment, all infectious tests came back negative,and she is coming home Wednesday. Miracles do happen sometimes!! She reached a point very close to death, but she is now eating , drinking, pooping, alert, and much much better. Thank you all

So sorry I didn't get the tag! I was looking through your posts saw this and am definitely praying I'm so glad she is recovering well and coming home!

Candy update - she was hauled to NC state for extensive care and possible surgery. The surgery was avoided because she didn’t need it. She is currently being tube fed and in an IV. Thankfully our closest friends(the sweetest people ever created) are helping to cover some of the expenses, because we just built a house and moved, got our horses here, and horse care is expensive. I hope she recovers, and everyone please remember - NEVER take your animals for granted. They are family too. You never know what day might be their last. Love ‘em why you can.

This is sooo true I lost one of my 11 week old pullets my EE girl 2 days ago. I miss her and wish I gave her more attention, treats, and took more photos. Guess what I did yesterday......spent time with all those chickens I love RIP LUCY and I love you
