prayer request for my aunt

I just got a call that my cousin died last night. Wes was only 47, and the oldest of "us cousins". My aunt is devestated. He had surgery earlier in the week, but there was a blood clot that went to his lungs or brain (mom was hard to understand on the phone

). He was handsome, funny, incredibly smart, and a really kind man. He leaves behind a wife and daughter.

With it being Easter weekend, we don't expect a funeral until early next week. If you could keep Aunt Dee, Uncle Jay, & my cousin Beth in your prayers it would be appreciated.

I am so sorry. We went thru this in our family too. About 4 years ago I got a call from my aunt who told me my 36 year old cousin, who was one of my best friends and like a sister...died in her sleep. She left behind a husband and 3 kids she took under her wing..they were his...your family has my prayers.

Giddymoon - sorry you had to go through this too. It's just hard to wrap your brain around. He also leaves behind a daughter 10, a stepson 20, and a wife. They'd have celebrated their 11th anniversary in days.

Thank you all for your prayers. I spent a half hour in the card store yesterday looking for the "right" card to send to my aunt, cousin, & his wife, but they all seemed so inadequate. Most had the phrase about sympathy ". . . . on your loss" geese, they didn't misplace their car keys, their son, brother and husband died
