Hey guys,

A good friend of my family (Parents best Friend) Was diagnosed with breast cancer probably about a year ago, She had a full mastectomy, but unfortunately the cancer spread to her lymph notes, she underwent Chemotherapy, and was in remission. She then had one of her regular full body scan and they found cancer in her brain, she again went through Chemotherapy and was back in remission. Well I just heard from my mom today that in the last couple of weeks, she had been feeling weak again, so she went in for another body scan, but before they could get the results of the scan, she began having seizures, and was hospitalized, she quickly slipped into a coma (I guess, I was told she is unconcence, is that the same as a coma) and apparently she will not be coming back from this, she is not expected to make it through the week, they are making her comfortable, and her family and friends are staying by her side. She has a Husband, 4 Kids ages 26, 24, 16, and 6, also two granddaughters ages 3 and 5. they all seem to be staying strong, but I don't think her 6 year old (and probably granddaughters) understands that she won't be coming home, and that tears me apart. Also her oldest daughter and I were a lot alike growing up, we both were super attached to our moms, they are and always will be our best friends, so I can't even comprehend how hard this will be for her, I can't imagine loosing my mom, I would be devastated. Anyway, I was hoping to get some prayers for her to pass quietly and easily, and to give her family strength to make it through this, through their family, friends and Church, I know they have an awesome support system, but I'm sure any prayers will help greatly. Thank you all.

Oh God, I am so sorry. I can't even imagine loosing my mom, she is my best friend also. I am so attached to my parents, I just can't even accept that I will lose them one day. My mom was incredibly close to her mother too. She always tells me that when she is reminded of her, it still hurts so much after twenty years. But she also says that she was so blessed to have someone to love that much. That is so great that she has so many loved ones by her side. Don't give up hope, miracles happen all the time. I will say a prayer for you all
