My mom's test results just came back (pet scan, some test where they put a tube into her lungs to check on a mass?)
She has to go in next week for a needle biopsy. They are thinking that it is lymphoma, hoping it's not lung cancer.
Her dr. told her that lymphoma is the easiest type to treat. My exFIL only lasted fro two yrs. once diagnosed, although his was agent orange induce which I would imagine would make a difference.
My dad has been fighting lymphoma for years, he was in remission for a few years, now it comes back every year like clockwork.
I don't think that she remembers this(they have been divorced almost 40yrs. with barley any contact)
I don't want to tell her as it would worry her. Her dr. told her that if it is lymphoma, it's just a matter of taking shots and pills, that simple.
If lung cancer they will have to take part of her right lung.
She is very worried but optomistic.
