Well we have been blessed with 6 so far out of 9 and #7 just pipped.

One more this morning. Had to help it out. Zipped but inner sack was not broken. Pipped yesterday. Around noon. Broke the top off gently, No blood. Then set it back down and 5 mins later the chick was out. Poor thing seemed exhausted. But doing better now.

Final total was 7 of 9 fertilized eggs. Maybe could have been 8. But the 8th never pipped and seems to have suffocated I guess. I thought about helping it out but was not sure if I should. Since it had not even pipped. Will never know if that would have made a difference. The 7 we have seem healthy and happy.
