Hi. I was wondering if I could get opinions on which of the pre-made coops on the market would be suitable for two standard sized EEs. I know that none of them are great, but I'm afraid that I just don't feel like starting from scratch is a good option for me. I'm not "handy" and I don't want to end up with a coop that collapses on top of my chickens!
Thanks in advance and I really appreciate everything that I am learning on BYC.

I have never had to buy a coop so I could not suggest any particular one. If I needed one I would ck Craigslist you may find a new or used one there. The advantage might be that you can go and see it before you buy. Just a thought Rich.

Check craigslist for some options. Even some dog houses will work if you only have the 2 chickens.
I can say NOT to buy a Ware brand premade coop, Trixie brand is the same company I think too. We are not handy much but it only took one day for my husband and I to build a large coop and run. I got materials off craigslist and it cost us under $100 total!

Thank you for your feedback!

After LOTS of reading of BYC and searching online, I have decided to have someone build the coop that I want. I have learned so much from you all that I have a good idea of the features that I really want to include. I think that I would have be very disappointed with any pre-fab import that I might have found!

So it will be a good compromise for me, I will have the exact coop that I want and my poor chickens won't have to worry about it falling down around their heads :p

Thanks again!
