Not sure if this was directed at me or not. I know the 'bless your heart" comments could have double meaning but I hope I am wrong in this case. I absolutely know I am ridiculous in the view from lifelong farmer eyes. I have a strong attachment to animals be they pet or livestock.

I think in this case they were really blessing you.

If you want to fit a chicken for prosthetics, go for it! More power to you. I hope your chicken successfully adapts to them, and all your hard work pays off.

We rescued a kitten off the side of the road that couldn't walk and took her in for emergency surgery to save her life. She's fully recovered now except one back leg is paralyzed.We call her Scooter!
