Predator attacking in the rain, what can it be?!

UPDATE: Hi all!
frow.gif
It's been a while since I updated this thread, mostly because nothing has really happened since I last posted, until now anyways. Don't worry, all the chickens are all still fine, but today there was a coyote roaming around in a neighbor's yard, and in fact it almost attacked my neighbor's dog.

So for now, the chickens are locked up in their coops for the day.
Now, you may be wondering what that has to do with this thread. Well, oddly enough, it hasn't rained here that much at all since I last posted (it snowed instead...), until today. It has been raining all day and it is the same exact conditions (except for the melting snow on the ground) as it was when Pumpkin was killed and when my cat was chased up the tree way back a couple months ago (as you can see posted a little while back on this thread). I might be completely wrong, but I just find it strange that once again, something happens when it's raining, or when the weather conditions are exactly the same.

Anyone else find that a little odd?

Well anyways, that's all for now. This was the first time I've actually seen a coyote around here and now I'm really paranoid because I'm deathly afraid of wolves and coyotes...

So now I'm even pretty scared to go out to the chicken coop, since it's farther back near the tree line of the woods.

as a predator myself (hunter) the rain helps keep down my smell and make my foot falls much quiter. ive sat in pouring rain for days for the hunt.
