Predator balance

Thank you all for your input, I appreciate it! For the time being, I'm going to set the trap IN the chicken runs w/ less interesting bait (eggs, seeds) and see if I can get an idea of what critters are used to breaching the fences for food.

Of course, last nite as I was sitting on the hill- watching for anything to head for my coops, my sister saw a opossum on the back porch- just a few feet away from our (secure) broody house. *sigh*
