Seen several young foxes away from mom and lots of young coons and skunks dead on the road in the last week. Young of the year predators are leaving their families looking to set up shop for themselves. They're not real good at hunting yet and are ranging wide looking for a good home so your slow-pheasants would make a ready food source for a hungry opportunist. Keep a close eye on 'em till the snow flies and weeds out some of the weak ones.
