For those who have problems with dogs, foxes, coons or any other four-legged critter, I found you can't beat Premier Fence's woven hot wire fence. They have fencing for all types of animals, including chickens. The fox here waits until my chickens start ranging in the pasture between 5 and 6 AM. We now lock them up with the hot fence around the chicken house until around 8 AM. Haven't lost one since!

Totally agree, I have 650' of the fence, and I consider it one of the best things I have bought for my birds. Four yrs without a loss.

This might be a stupid question but will it keep snakes out too if it is all the way down to the ground? Have a lot of chicken/rat snakes in my area along with copperheads, but don't really want to get rid of the rat snakes as they eat the mice. Thanks!

Not a stupid question, but yes, the fence will keep out snakes. I have found one dead, and saved another, before he got himself killed. I have also had two box turtles get themselves killed by the fence. The fence has a pulse type of charge, but it seems reptiles, once into the fence, can't get off.
