Hello! I have been dealing with a mite infestation and read about using predator mites. Does anyone have experience with using these mites? Is it a good solution? Can I put them directly on the chicken? I do not have red mites but I have northern fowl mites. All my research on predator mites says only to use them for red mites and I have never seen an article about using them for northern fowl mites. So can I put predator mites directly on my chickens to kill northern fowl mites?

hello @Tookie Welcome to BYC :frow

Basically you are saying that all the advice you've found so far says don't do it. Why don't you want to take that advice?

Spray inside the coop thoroughly weekly for 3 or 4 weeks because it will not kill the pests eggs but will as they hatch out so repeat weekly treatments are a must. I also use poultry dust in the nest boxes.
