I recently built a run to add to the small coop/run I was given by a neighbor and both the coop and the run are up against our garage. How would you go about predator proofing the run? I obviously can't place an apron on the side that's against the garage. Should I place one on the inside portion of the run where it meets the garage wall?
I've added a photo of the coop/run (minus the roof) for a visual. Thank you! 36934C4A-27DE-4F3D-9814-EA8D25967F97.jpeg

Assuming that the wall of the coop/run is tight up against the garage wall, that side should be safe from digging attacks if you can snug the perimeter apron firmly against the garage wall. :)

If it's not quite tight against the garage, can you bridge the gap with hardware cloth to protect that gap area?

It's pretty tight other than a slight lean from the natural slope there. I'd say mice and moles would be the only ones getting through. I've only seen two snakes around here in 16 years and neither were anything threatening. Knowing that, I should be okay just to protect the front and end? The coop portion is protected already because I used hardware cloth under the whole coop.
