Predator-Proof Trapdoor Popdoors?

Newbie here. I'm building my tractor now, based on BirdsinBethels tractor, and I'd like a way to lower, raise, and lock the trapdoor/ramp assembly. Does anyone have a proven design or ideas or pictures of such a design? I'd considered a long-lever to raise the assembly with a separate rotating iron bolt with fingers that, when rotated and locked in place, hold the side opposite the hinges securely closed, but that'll involve welding and forging. I'm qualified, but thought if there was an easier way, I'd skip reinventing the wheel.

A guillotine door with a lower edge that is captured when closed would be extremely difficult for a predator to open because there is nowhere to gain purchase. Mine is operated with a string and pulley routed to the outside of the coop and run.

Plus, gravity holds it closed.

Here is a picture of my coon-proof pop door. Its just plywood, a string, 2 eye screws, and a couple 2x4s. The pop door is framed on the outside of the coop so there is a ledge around all the sides. There is no way for the coon to pry the door open because he can't get his nails underneath the door. Simple, but it does the job.

I built mine using a 12vdc car window motor attached a circular disk bored in center attached a rod half the distance of the travel, toward the outer edge of the disk. This rod is attached to the top edge of to guillotine type door. The advantage here is that when the door is in the closed position the rod is pressing down on the door and can not be lifted. I have two single pole timers, one for open one for close, wired with an upper and lower limit switch. All runs on a 12vdc lawnmower battery. Had all the parts on hand to build. If i build a second one I will probably buy linear actuator and a timer, the actuator has limit switches built into it and they have timers that will do both open and close.
