predators and pests

My rooster came up missing. There are no feathers. There are no body parts. I am just bewildered. He was a large rooster, so he didn't fly out of the fence. When a predator gets a hen there are feathers all over the place. He was a great rooster. They accidentally put him in with the pullets at the store. I sure do miss him. Does anyone have any ideas?

Something definitely carried him off. Whatever it was will be back for another chicken dinner. Maybe get a trail cam and set it up.

not all predators will leave feathers behind. foxes and 2 legged foxes are good about that
