Ok, my family Is set on a coop, now I need to scoop on preditor proofing. Before that I have a question:

When building the coop, most people dig cinder blocks 1/2 foot into the ground. But isn't that a 1/2 a foot easier for preditor to dig in?

Not sure what coop you want to construct.? What digging predators are in your area.? Will you have a run? How does the area where coop look?
With all these questions unanswered, I still can use my imagination, and offer advice. Make a secure run, and secure against diggers with hardware cloth buried just below surface, 2 feet out. You can use welded 1 inch wire also. Lasts longer than HC rusting. Build coop inside run confines.
Not sure of size of coop, but it can be built on a relatively thin slab of concrete. Nothing will break thru even if they do succeed to dig under coop.
If you want earth floor inside coop, which is wanted if doing DLM, then do the exterior walls at bottom with the the HC, or wire mesh apron.
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and:welcome

This is the coop I want to build. its night now so can't really take a good picture of the part I'm building the coop on. I have a dog and I have seen a coyote twice

Nice type of coop and run combo. A wire apron would solve digging problems. I don't thing a coyote would spend much time digging, since would be looking for easier way to enter, or search for easier meal.
