Pregnant barn cat *update* We have kittens!

Laynadon, They are beautiful. I love Fatty. Muffin's kittens are also growing fast. I am in California again taking care of Mom, but Doug gives me daily updates. I don't think he is trying too hard to find homes. They are so darned cute ! I have scars all over my hands from those needle claws. I'll post some pictures when he sends them to me.

Thank you. I love them to death. How old are Muffin's kittens now? They must be 6 or 7 weeks old now.

Mine are five weeks at midnight tonight. I can't believe how big they've gotten. Are Muffin's kittens weaned yet? LOL about your husband. I keep looking at mine all sad, because a lot of them will be heading to their new homes in the next few weeks. But then I remember they will all grow up to be cats someday, and as much as I like cats, I DO NOT want 7... So that perks me up a bit.
Can you or your husband tell your kittens apart? It must be harder with them all being one color.

The Mini-muffins are 7 weeks today. I can't believe I have missed so much of their development being in CA for so long. I am coming home Sat. and have to really work on finding homes. We don't need 7 cats either. I can sorta tell them apart by size differences and personality. Scardy cat is the smallest and spent alot of time separate and hiding. Not anymore, Doug says she is the queen of ambush. Her poor brothers don't have a chance. Two of the boys are always together and always wrestling. The other boy just wants to be picked up. If you cradle him like a baby and point your finger at his belly and say "hands up" he throws his front paws over his head. I want to try to get a video of it. Soo funny. I think he has a home with the young man who apprentices with my hubby. Every time he comes in "hands up " runs to him. They have been weaned for about 2 weeks now on kitten chow. They still attack Muffin now and then but she is tolerating them less every day.Now all my adult cats will only eat kitten chow.

update- "Hands Up" went home with his new daddy today. Keith may want one of his brothers too. that only leaves me with the little girl to find a home for as DH has already decided we need to keep one!
