Still waiting, it was a false alarm :) We had a breeder out yesterday to look at her and she said from her experience ( 5 yrs breeding PBP) that she looks like she could go within the next 2 weeks. So meantime we just keep doing what we are doing. I know she is ready to get this over with!
 
Yesterday she started to have clear sticky fluid from 2 teats, I read that means usually in a few days. So we are watching and waiting some more :)
 
Maybe in the future it would be a good idea to keep your boar and sow separate until you put them together for breeding? That way, you know exactly when it happened.
 
Thats the plan for sure. We didnt have a way to separate them before, we do now and are in the process of getting a new barn so they will have their own stalls& pens as needed.
Meanwhile Ms pig continues to get even bigger, milk sack is starting to fill more and she is pretty uncomfortable. She has really been enjoying her turtle pool the last few days...
