Premature hatching chick

This batch of hatching eggs have all sorts of excitements and stress. The first was the double yolk egg with two growing chicks inside. Then this one is hatching at this very moment, 4 days early. I was candling the eggs before I prepare for lock down, but I keep hearing chirping. Sure enough this one was screaming inside the egg when I picked it up. Then I saw the little hole… omg what am I supposed to do?

Put some coconut oil on the membrane to moisten it. Don't use water.

After a couple of hours the coconut oil absorbed into the membrane and the chick was able to turn itself around and is breaking through the shell now.
