Preparing for First Lockdown... Tomorrow! Any last minute advice?

WHOOPS! Sorry if we spoke about some other thing of the subject..(mstricer spoke about thread being shut down for something maybe) .I didnt know!
I guess it was me asking about hatching out a chick next to another one?
Didnt know there were rules about ..what actually? I am confused

Cant we talk about another part of hatching on someones thread.i f we all are talking about lock down and hatches? I guess i need to be told the rules GGEK!!.Seriously
didnt read it all ever as if figured it was about "Dont be nasty or cuss words, dirty remarks' etc..like most websites.
We have 3 at least threads going about locking down and hatching so its hard to remember which you are on your own or another when we speak and we are all talking about the current hatches.. each or a couple of us waiting for and having chicks on a few threads not just one.. and i DO want to see whats going on with everyone on all.So exciting and lots of good information.

I wouldnt want to get someones thread shut down for any reason though. Again if it was me...meant no harm,, Sorry!! (yeah i do talk a lot, thats me )

well, I only own a homemade bator..

in my experience, all you need to do is raising humidity to above 60% and not to disturb the eggs anymore like candling or turning it over and wait for those little fluffy out of their shield.

My bator came with a fan that hardwires to the bator so no turning off.If you added some other kind with an exposed blade i wouldnt run it.

Day 21 for me....nothing.Yep think mine all died back around day 10..I already lined up some Lav orp eggs to pick up and try them.Hope i have better sucess than the shipped but these were packed well and started out fine then half eay thru kaput but wish i knew what happened! All doing good then.... gone.No disasters to cause it.o well
