Prepayment for eggs

Talking with a local breeder who has some fertile lavender Orphingron eggs. I inquired about picking up this weekend (2) and she is asking for prepayment so that "she does not hold them and they go bad" am I missing something, wont they either hatch or not hatch as long as they're being properly incubated? Keep in mine this is just a PayPal transaction that doesn't really guarantee me anything, for all I know they arnt fertile at all and she could ghost me

I always get money up front weather eggs or chicks. Everyone wants some till available then for some reason they cant. Holding eggs would be more critical than chicks. I fully understand why she's doing it. Now hatchability or fertile or not thats a different matter. Feel the person out alls I can say if they're not known
