Hi everyone!

I know that long grass can be detrimental to chickens (impacted crop). Is it the same for other greens?

I just picked about 80909342 (okay, or 12) radishes from my garden and want to toss the leaves in to the girls. They liked them when I cut them up but now I'm wondering, is that necessary? Or is the crop worry mostly with grass?

I have carrots, radishes, and such and was wondering if I'm being overprotective by cutting all the leaves and tops into smaller pieces for the girls.

Thanks!

Mine will shred leafy greens into pieces as they peck and eat. Most leafy plants don't have the stringy structure of grass.
