if that silkie in the picture that is salt and pepper looking and its from my eggs its a black lav split and yes it carries lav genes. If its from me its not a grey.

Yep it is from you. The color is what is called gray from what I understand (SOP), still could be split for lav (carrying the lavender gene). Interesting. Why did you decide to breed gray to lav instead of black? Just curious as to your reasoning!

No grey crossed with lav. That is a black lav split. from my black lav split pen. Send me your email address and I will send you pics of my breeders. What looks to be grey is really lavender feathers. Send me your email. My greys are in a separate pen and don't look like that. lol
