Presto Pizzazz Pizza oven

I have one and I do preheat it for pizza, it makes the crust good and crisp, which is how everyone here likes it. I've used it for other things, too, and it works great. Just like the previous person said, treat it like you would a cast iron skillet as far as treatment. Once it's good and seasoned, you'll LOVE it.
 
Guess I'll have to pull my Pampered Chef stone out. Used it for a couple years and then just started cutting our pizza on it, and now it just is a large weight in the cupboard.



Ok, next homemade pizza will be on the stone.

Maybe I will do that, my pizzas do seem to be softer then pizza should be.

I use my Pampered Chef Pizza stone as well. I preheat mine for a crispier crust.

My roomate in college had a pizza oven like the one the OP mentioned. It did make good pizza, and was great for those of us who shared an oven with around 40 other people. I prefer the old fashioned oven, as I don't need anymore appliances that only get used once in a while.
 
I love my pizza stone by Pampered Chef and there was one that Dollar Store sells too....use cornmeal and it will keep the pizza from sticking when you use it. Once it is seasoned you do no thave to use cornmeal anymore. My pan was BLACK and it does not stick UNTIL hubby left a plastic handled screwdriver in the oven while I preheated it. Ruined it. That was my baby! Now I have another one that it will take a few years to season this one like my other one.

I think the Presto pizza oven would be only for 12 inch pizzas. No good if you have more than that.
 
We use ours all the time! Bought it years ago-so it is like 8 years old and it will give you perfect pizza without heating your house up. It will take a while to figure out which kinds of frozen pizza cook best which way. For instance, you might do 4 minutes with the bottom coils only then 8 using both top and bottom and if you like the top more brown then use the top coil to cook the top some more. Love it. It is one of the three small appliances used the most. First toaster/convection oven, then coffee maker, then Pizza Pizzazz! Buy one. You won't be disappointed. We use it probably 3 times a week easily. Still works like we just took it out of the box. We used to use our stone in the oven and make homemade too but this is so much better.
