Got a few new pictures of my babies today... I got a bunch of pumpkins on clearance and set up an autumn photo shoot. As I suspected, the problem was not that the girls were scared of the pumpkins, but that they thought it should be a snack. lol

Aww, tadpole... I had a pair like that, and when Tina died, Bjork was absolutely heartbroken. Fortunately, I have a softy in my flock named Bubbles who seemed to sense Bjork needed consoling, and she stuck but her side until the poor girl was alright again.

I don't think there is such a thing as a pure bred frizzle. Frizzling is a gene that makes the feathers curl. I don't think its a breed itself. Where did you get her? She's so cute! I have a frizzled Silkie (They are called Sizzles).

You're right. Frizzles are a genetic...malfunction and they aren't a breed. They have sub categories within every breed, because it's not limited.

Hmmm... I never knew that!! I though Frizzles were a Silkie mix of some sort. So I can happen with any breed?? That's really interesting!!!
