Aww, tadpole... I had a pair like that, and when Tina died, Bjork was absolutely heartbroken. Fortunately, I have a softy in my flock named Bubbles who seemed to sense Bjork needed consoling, and she stuck but her side until the poor girl was alright again.

I don't think there is such a thing as a pure bred frizzle. Frizzling is a gene that makes the feathers curl. I don't think its a breed itself. Where did you get her? She's so cute! I have a frizzled Silkie (They are called Sizzles).

well i didn't know they were not a breed but there are so many different rules and specification and genes and lines of genes etc that i like to call them a breed, probably shouldn't have called them pure bred sorry. I got them from Sydney Australia. So does that mean a sizzle isn't an actually breed??? sorry its just that im still getting to know all of the breed even though there are like 100000000000000000000 pure breeds then another 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000 cross breeds then it gets into all other kinds of specific categories etc etc etc. Can i frizzle any breed of chicken???

This is Bug, my Olive Egger at 17 weeks old. She's 23 weeks old now. She was picking at this flower so I pulled it off the stem and set it on her head and she didn't move until the camera clicked then she shook it off. She's special.
