well i didn't know they were not a breed but there are so many different rules and specification and genes and lines of genes etc that i like to call them a breed, probably shouldn't have called them pure bred sorry. I got them from Sydney Australia. So does that mean a sizzle isn't an actually breed??? sorry its just that im still getting to know all of the breed even though there are like 100000000000000000000 pure breeds then another 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000 cross breeds then it gets into all other kinds of specific categories etc etc etc. Can i frizzle any breed of chicken???

Frizzles are not a characteristic of just a couple breeds. It happens to ANY breed, seeing as it is a gene defect. And, Sizzles (to my knowledge) are usually shown as Silkies because every Frizzle that is shown is shown under their breed that the parents are.

My husband holding Elvis for a "time out" after Elvis tried to pick a fight with him. I can't be sure, since chickens don't have lips, but I'm pretty sure he is pouting.



Our Polish Crested girls cannot stand cats and get very perturbed if one is in their territory. Watching them chase off a cat is like watching a mob of meerkats drive off a cobra.





The other Polish got bored and wandered off, but Bubbles wasn't done with C'zer.
