Oh man he went through a lot! Poor guy! My roo has a chunk taken out of the back of his as well, from a fight with my other boy.Hah, yeah, he got that nick in a fight at the farm he came from, then fought off a coon at my place and got a chunk out of the back. Later frostbite rounded off the tips. So it was kind of an aftermarket job.

Thanks! He is such an amazing boy, the perfect rooster. He's never been confrontational with me, he's gentle to hens and chicks, he looks out well for predators, and he's chill with other roosters if they behave themselves. Definitely a keeper, I hope he's a part of my flock for many years to come.
