We came through Hanna just fine but flooding was an issue. We saw things we can not unsee and found humor in this situation as we were never in any danger, but.... has anyone ever seen anything like this? I must say I live on the US/Mexican border. We aren't culturally settled yet.

In funnier news:
Here is the "ala Me(hi)cano" version of the Cajun Navy for high water rescue(sorry DW and I had a great laugh over this one not often you see box springs floating down our street it was not used for water rescue) wiki my township:

Please do not think I am disparaging my neighbors. It was simply meant as a lighthearted observation of my fantasy.

Just there is a bit of overlap between spanish and english translations. For example we bought Mexicoke in the DFW area at Costco for years. But if you want that stuff here it is "Coca ala Mexicano" and I am sure I typo-ed that.

Much easier than trying to say I want corn syrup free coca cola in a second language. Or GMO free produce at the fruit store.

I do hate the history behind where I live in the world it is Spanish and American ugly. I hope some snowflake doesn't get offended please pm me if you are/are not and we can discuss my previous statement. I also do not care how you plan on voting in the next US election we can still talk just please not about November 2020. I would be happy to discuss the history of my plot of land.
