Two days ago I noticed my 2.5 month old pullets looked disheveled and lethargic and puffy. It came on quick. Started treating them yesterday with liquid Corid 2 tsp. per gallon of water. This morning one was dead. Their coop is part of an old barn stall..and I have another flock of older hens adjacent to this coop in another barn stall..and they will share the run (if the young ones make it) Just wondering if I should treat the older hens with Corid as a preventative even though they free range and have probably been exposed? And also how would you recommend cleaning up the coop area the young chicks are in to stop the spread? Thank you.
