Pretty sure these 3 Naked Necks are roosters, but I need a second opinion.

mrsjohnson0807...that is so funny for, I, too am a Mrs Johnson :)

I have 7 NN roos right now.  I hatched a bunch of eggs and only got 3 pullets out of them all.  I have Marek's in my flock so I can't give them away.  After losing so many to Marek's...35+ to date...I can't kill and/or eat a healthy chicken just cause it's a roo..so, they are living the good life in a bachelor pad built just for them :)  I would pick out your favorite...mine was awesome..I just lost him last month to Marek's :hit .  He was funny and sweet.  He loved to take treats ever so gently from your hand.  He would not only protect his girls but, would protect me from my son's evil silkie!  I still miss Charlie...

Here he is...

Oh no not Charlie!! :(

He was so beautiful.. I wish you lived closer.. I have a good 5 barred NN roos... He was the reason I wanted the barred. He was stunning!

Thank you so much. I loved him, too. He was such a good rooster....I miss him daily. I thought he was safe, he was 13 months old. I thought he would have developed enough immunity by then. But, when the first heat wave hit, it must have been just enough of a stress factor and he and two of my beautiful NN girls perished :( I was, and still am, devastated :(

I have 6 Charlie sons. 2 barred NNs, 2 barred NN X cochin and 2 black NNs with gold leakage. They are all beautiful and the one NN X Cochin is CJ..he looks so much like his dad. They are all fabulous roos just like their dad. They are carried around by my 8 year old and they are still living in my basement. I read that they needed a good 6 months to develop a strong immunity. They spend their days in my backyard but separate from the rest of the flock. We are building them a bachelor coop where they will live their lives out being spoiled. They are the last remnants of my beloved original NNs. I only have one black NN hen left and 2 pullets that hatched with all the boys.
