Pretty sure this is an Ameraucana or EE Roo, but not positive

I recently got this little guy (I think!) to add to my flock. I'm pretty sure it's a rooster, but I'm not 100%, as I've messed up before. Can you help me out? He's an Ameraucana, or that's what the sign said, around 3 months old.

I'm new to this kind of chicken. How do you tell the difference between Ameraucana and EE?

There is a thread on here that will explain it better than I but ...Ameraucana is a pure breed and comes in standardized colors (like blue, black etc) and lay blue eggs - EE is a mixed chicken designed to lay multi color eggs (blue, green, sometimes brown).

ee. cockerel any bird thats labeled ameraucana that has any other color legs besides slate is an ee and if they arent one of the 8 recognized colors its an ee
