I saved this little pullet from the soup pot. Wondering what kind she is??
Rhode Island White?? Leghorn??

She's not a Rhode Island White, RIWs only have rose combs. She could either be a White Leghorn or a White Rock. If her earlobes are white then she's a WL if they are red then she's probably a White Rock.

What color are her earlobes? (I can't see them in the photos). If they're red, she's a White Plymouth Rock. If they're white, then she's a White Leghorn. Rhode Island Whites would be more heavy in build, and should have rose-combs (though there are occasionally single-combed offspring from rose-combed parents). Without knowing the color of the earlobe, just judging by the shape, I think you have a White Leghorn.

I'm not sure on the breed from the pictures. Her body shape looks like a White Leghorn, but she could also be a White Rock or a commerical-type Rhode Island White (True RIW have rose combs, but some have single combs. She's probably not a RIW, as RIW are rare). If she has red earlobes, she's a White Rock. If the earlobes are white, she's a White Leghorn.

She has white earlobes! So she must be a White Leghorn!! Thanks everyone!!!

Is it just the photo, or does she have black spots?

If she has black spots, she's a commercial Leghorn cross hybrid.

I think White Rock. She just started laying some pretty light brown eggs!
