Anyone treat proactively for Bumblefoot prevention by applying a product like Pad Kote, Blue Kote or Liquid Bandage to your chickens feet?
Just discovered 5-6 hens with very mild to moderate cases & hope to prevent anyone else getting it.
The coop has a sand floor, cleaned out every morning & dusted with barnlime..

I have tried using Tuf Foot. I haven't noticed much of a difference. However, I have managed to not have any bumblefoot in my chickens at all since making a few modifications to their environment (very low roosts to accommodate my bigger breeds, sanded every wood surface, deep litter in the run, sawdust in their foraging yard). I haven't had any issues for many, many months now. I used to always have at least one chicken with bumblefoot.

The ducks, however, I have found that lanolin applied every few days makes a world of difference as it prevents their feet from drying out and cracking.
