Preventing pop hole from being a draft hole

Love the picture of the draft hutch. I am going to incorporate that into my coop design - which is still in my head. Chicks in May for me!

Oh my goodness, so many responses and so many good ideas! I was actually doubtful about the door flaps, thinking they chickens would be too nervous to go through. But if so many folks have had success with it, that certainly is the most reasonable option in a pinch! I love the draft hutch and might do something like that in the spring.

I 2nd the good ideas and thanks for posting this question. Our pop doors are open all the time and I've been wondering this myself. Especially since the one door is right below / in front of the roosts...

I really like the draft hutch idea. Maybe a new project for next year.
