Price and age to sell

What's the best age to sell chicks? Do you raise your price as they get older each week?? We're hatching and selling cream legbars, very dark laying Marans and lavender orphingtons. Possibly Ayam Cemani. Just trying to figure out to price them and still make money but also be able to sell them..

As anything, it will depend on your market. Selling locally, do the local people care about and want those breeds? Selling via mail, are you NPIP (required to ship)?

overall, chicks are cheaper than pullets. But, not sure I’d pay much more for a 2-week old chick versus a dayold. But, I’d pay more for an older chick/young pullet.
