I was thinking about selling fertile, unwashed eggs. They are a mix of olive eggers, Easter eggers, and just some other crossbreeds. All female hatchlings will lay a ton of eggs due to my flocks laying capabilities. I was wondering if y’all could give me an average price to sell them for.

Here’s one of my Dominique hens.

Whatever price you decide, be sure to tell them, "Plus shipping."

You don't want to lock yourself into $20/dozen (or whatever) and find out shipping is going to run you $22.

If I sell only my blue eggs (which means the hatchlings will be olive eggers) then could they or would they be a higher price?

Are your hens pure blue laying breeds? Or are they Easter eggers? Just because a bird lays blue doesn't mean every single chick will also lay blue.

I was gonna breed them with my Maran roo and hope to get olive eggers. She is my sweetest chicken. Follows anyone around to be picked up. She is an Easter egger.

Then unless you get her DNA tested for the gene, there's no way to know she has 2 blue genes or one blue and one white for egg color

Okay, thanks for your help! If her eggs turn out to not be olive egger hatchlings, what colors will those lay?
